from the minutes of the meeting:
Mr. Jos. Courr.nd requ st d a per-
mit to elect a monument to the orig-
inal settlers of Ctstroville, Texas.
The permit was granted to Bejar
Caravan No. 56. Order of the Alham-
bra. San Antonio. Texas, the monu-
ment to be i rected cn September
square in Castroville.
County and road district taxes and
school levy were duly considered by
the Court.
Warrants were cancelled, quarterly
reports examined and approved and

Funds for roads and the painting
of (certain bridges in the County
transferred to different pre-
cincts.
