Prepare Exhibits For Convention
The Junior Volunteers of
the Bellaire General Hospi-
tal are in the midst of work
on scrapbook, poster and
exhibit for their convention.
The Texas Association of
Hospital Auxlians District
III and IV will hold their
Junior Auxiliary meeting on
July 16 and 17 at La Quinta
Motel, Corpus Christi,
Texas.
The theme to be used for
all entries is: “Rise up with
wings of eagles meeting the
challenge of change” with
the symbol of the Eagle.
Certain specifications must
be met on each entry
portraying Junior Volunteer
Service. This includes Area
of Service, Special Projects,
Promotion of Careers and
Ways Hospital is Projected
In the Community.
All entries are classified
for awards according to the
hospital bed capacity. Bel-
laire General is purported
now to have a 339 bed
capacity which means stiff
competition.
As a reward for hard work
on their entries, Junior
Volunteers look forward to
the convention. Besides the
more serious discussions,
there is always special food
and entertainment.
