Hospital nluiteers
install officers
On March 6, the volunt-
eers of Bellaire General
Hospital held a meeting in
the hospitality room to In-
stall the officers fro the
1974 year. Elsie Spiller,
Director of Volunteers at
SL Luke’s Episcopal Hos-
pital, conducted the insta-
llation ceremony. The fo-
llowing are the officers for
the 1974 year: President-
Blllie Duncan; First Vice-
President- Ruth Harris;
Second Vice-President- C-
harlotte Broussard; Secre-
tary Margie Hood, and Tr-
easurer-Marie Walters,
The new president, Billie
Duncan , named the follow-
ing appointments: Hositality
Chairman-Frances Justus;
Telephone Chairman-Ginger
Hearne; and Parliamentar-
ian-Janie Stringfellow
The Mr. Charles A. Wi-
lliams, assistant administ-
rator and Anita Buell, Di-
rector of Volunteers, both
of Bellaire Hospital said a
few words expressing their
appreciation for the work
the volunteers had done for
the hospital.
After the meeting adjour-
ned, refreshments were se-
rved by Rita Youngerman and
Tammy Howard who are Ca-
ndy Stripers at Bellaire Ge-
neral.
