Stein, Grammer pledge vows

Grammer of Port Aransas were Hur-
ried Saturday. Dec. 28. 1991 at Our
Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Kenneth Mafaalitc, and the
groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Grammer. All are of E^le Lake.
The double ring ceremony was
performed by Father Jessie Euresd.
Escorted to the altar by her father,
the bride wore a semi-formal gown of
candlelight Afencott lace and tulle
over taffeta. The fitted bodice of lace
over taffeta was beaded with bridal
pearls and iridescent sequins. The
dropped waistline featured a softly
gathered skirt of tulle which fell toa
graduated hemline. She carried a
bouquet of red roses accented with
ajn., at Humana in Corpus Christi.

Maternal grandparents are Shirley
and T.C. Nixon of Port Aransas.

Wayne Bowman was usher.
In the wedding party were Jamie
Stein, daughter of the bride; and
Kinsey Hoffman and Lauren Faldyn,
nieces of the bride.

Barbecue will
benefit Day Care
A barbecue dinner to benefit the
Dewey Dreyer Day Care Center will
be held Saturday, Feb. 29, from 5 to 7
pjn.
The non-denominational center is a
non-profit organization operated
under the auspices of, but separate
from, Community Presbyterian
Church.
The dinner will be at the Pollock
Center and will feature barbecue bris-
ket “a la chef George Swank”. Take-
out plates will also be available.
Advance tickets at $4 each may be
purchased from students of the Day
Care Center, Community Presbyte-
rian Church Sunday School Dept
students, or at the Joint Effort Leisure
Ministry (JELM) Center.
Tickets at the door will be $4.75 for
adults. Children’s {dates are $3.50 in
advance or at the door.
