Saturday. Sept. 5 at the Bethel Babtist
Church at 6 p.m. in Ingleside. The
reception that followed was at the
First Babtist Church of Ingleside.
The bride is a resident of Harlingen
And the daughter of Frank and Pat
Cady of Ingleside. She is a graduate
of Ingleside High School and is cur-
rently employed by Central Power
and Light.
The groom is a resident of Port
Aransas and the sbn of Homer and
Victoria Roberson of Port Aransas.
He is a graduate of Flour Bluff High
School and is employed by Crowlie
Towing.
Matron of honor was Jody Stevens
of Portland, sister of the bride. Best
man was Michael Roberson of Port ^
Aransas, brother of the groom. Ring
bearer was Daniel Cady of Harlingen,
son of the bride. Brother of the bride,
Kris Cady from Ingleside, and Greg
Cartwright of Austin were ushers. £
The bride wore a formal candle-
light gown with an overlay skirt of
antique lace with seed pearls and iri-
descent sequins. The veil was held in j
place by a silk flower wreath. The
bridal bouquet was ivory roses ac-
cented with seed pearl sprays.
The matron of honor wore a peach
tea-length gown of brocade satin and
carried a single long stem ivory rose.
The groom, best man, and ring
bearer were dressed in dark gray tuxe-
dos.

putting the year-to-date tally up by
7.32 percent.

The Corpus Christi Regional Inn-
sit Authority, making it’s quarterly

Checks mailed in September, in-
clude taxes collected on July sales

tax returns.

nounce the birth of a daughter, Re-
becca Anne, on Saturday, Aug. 22, at
3:21 p.m.
She was bom in Galveston, weighed
8 pounds and 2 ounces and measured
19 and 1/2 inches.
Maternal grandparents are Hubert
and Becky Lyle of Port Aransas.
Maternal great-grandparent is Mon-
tie Lyle of Port Aransas and Texas
City.
Paternal grandparents are Thelma
and Toby Tobias of Cedar Park.
Paternal great-grandparents are Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Arman of Houston.

The Port Aransas Public Library
may have a new name after tonight
(Thursday, Sept. 17).
City council members will vote on a
resolution that proposes the library be
renamed the William R'. ‘’Bill” Ellis
Memorial Library.
The meeting will be at city hall at 7
p.m. and is open to the public.
Ellis, who died last July, was mayor
of Port Aransas from 1945 to 1948and
served ascity clerk from 1930 to 1935.

serve from one to two.
• an ordinance to adopt standard
codes relating to inspection activities
to bring them up to date.
• the final reading of an ordinance
amending the Port Aransas fiscal year
1992 budget.
• proclaiming Sept 21 -25 as Minor-
ity Enterprise Development Week.
• authorizing the city manager to
execute the annual contract between
the city and the Chamber of Com-
merce and Tourist Bureau for fiscal
year 1993 funding. |
