We are offering to the trade of this community an unusual
stock of Dry Goods, Ready-to-Wear Clothing and Shoes. Our stock
is large and complete, considering the scarcity of real merchandise
here has never been a time in the history of this business when
we were better prerared to SERVE and SAVE for our customers.
If you will just take advantage of the opportunity-there is
hardly an item in our immense stock that we are not offering to-
day at an even or less than wholesale price at present °We
took every advantage offered us early, and booked our stock as
soon as prices were made on them—this enables us to keep the
price down-compared with the wholesale price todav Merchan
dise for the coming year is not only going t0 be very scarce, but
much higher in price and of a very poor quality and undesirable
compared with the present stock on hand. It will be very wise
for you to cover your need as much as possible, for there is no
question but higher prices and scarcity of merchandise has just
started.

Mott’s Message to
American Father’s
I have something to say to you
fathers, something of comfort
and of reassurance.
G>ur boy is leading a clean
life in France. Do not let any
man deceive you with rumors
to the contrary.
Step by step General Pershing
has pushed back the liquor sel-
lers and the forces of evil from
where the boys live: and decency
and virtue are becoming the
popular thing in the American
army—the easier, not the harder
path to travel for your boy.
