Texas Lottery retailer base. Minority retailers now number 6,826, which represents 41.54 percent
of the agency's total Texas Lottery retailer base (see Figures 4 and 5). During this report period, the
number of minority retailers increased in seven of the 10 lottery sales districts. In addition, for the
fifth consecutive year, the TLC has maintained a minority retailer percentage of more than 38 per-
cent. More detailed information on minority retailers is located in Appendix B (page 18).FIG. 4
