Census Will Be Held

the association, will preside over
a short business meeting. Final
plans will be discussed for the
Country Store to be sponsored by
the organization on November 15.
“Church Symbolism” will be the
topic of Mrs. L. W. Matteson, guest
speaker from the Trinity Episco-
pal Church.
Churches of Bellaire will take a
door-to-door religious census Sun-
day, November 11, it was an-
nounced this week by Cliff Wilkie,
temporary chairman.
Post cards are being mailed to
every family in Bellaire. Residents
are asked to fill in the information
before the representative calls that
Sunday afternoon, he said.

illusion yoke of the dress was em-
broidered with seed pearls. A
tiered veil of illusion was held by
a heirloom lace trimmed with
pearls. She carried a white orchid I
and stephanotis.
Best man was William Lanford
and groomsmen were Herbert
Thompson and James Buller. Ush-
ers were Joe Hext and Larry Car-
michal.
The bride attended Mary Hardin
Baylor College, where she was a
member of the Beta Literary So-
ciety. The groom attended Hardin
Simmons University.
National Judge
Holds Clinic For
Greenbriar Club
Mrs. Earl White, national judge,
held a clinic Tuesday for mem-
bers of the Greenbriar Garden
Club and the general public. Mrs.
White is also the recording sec-
retary for the State Council of
Garden Clubs.
The meeting was held in the
Garden Center, 1500 Hermann
Drive, from 10 a. m. until noon.
Mrs. T. C. Hornbuckle of 1744
Lexington is the club president.
