faint. She left the place, but col-
lapsed as she reached the steps.
The women of the corps at the bar
racks came at once to her aid, and she
was carried to the Overland Street
Pharmacy, where Dr. Baas atended
her. There restoratives were applied
and in about half an hour the lady was
able to be sent to her friend’s home.

At the morning service of the SL
Clement’s P. E. church on Mesa ave-
nue Sunday, the rector, Rev. M. C.
.Martin, commemorated the tenth an-
niversity of talsrectorate with an ap-
propriate service. In concluding his
sermon he mentioned the fact that
the Divine, Guide had blessed his mis-
sion with singular success. The fol-
lowing statistics substantiate his
statements: In the ten years 292 per-
sons have been baptized, ,208 con-
firmed, 161 marriages and 191 burials.
The number of communicants has in-
creased, notwithstanding losses by re-
movals and deaths, from 112 to 837.
In the, ten years the church edifice
has been enlarged and remodeled and
many costly and handsome memorials
placed therein.

STILL ON THE GO.
For the past five or six years peo-
ple have been saying that things
would soon slow up in El Paso real
estate, rente go down, etc. But such
evil prophecies have been gloriously
refuted, and while these never cease,
El Paso real estate and rentals go
right on with a steady and upward
advance. Our sales the past few
weeks will prove this. The fact that
we rent houses as fast as we get
them listed with us proveB this. Our
loans to build and buy houses prove
it So we give you a few pointers
once again and ask that you put us
to the test by calling and looking
further Into our list.
We have for the coming week some
specials that will interest you:
33 feet or more on North Kansas
street, just north of the high school,
a fine location for a home, in easy
walking distance Of the business part
of the city, can be had for $550; three
notes on this due one, two and three
years from date at 8 per cent Inter-
est, or pay cash if you like. This is _
certainly an opportunity for some one ^
who wants a cheap, good home. We | ^
will sell five lots In this location at
a wholesale reduction.
Another gilt edge proposition is on
three plots directly across the street,
northwest from the high school build-
ing. One of these plots is 42x130
feet, another 40x130 feet, another 40x
120 feet on an alley corner. Just
across the street from these south
fronts are two west fronts that are
listed for $325 each. On the lower
corner of same block two west fronts
sold several months ago for $575
each. No other lot in that or adjoin-
ing lots} on that street can be bought
for less than $500 except those in the
block we are offering. See us if you
