St. Loi rs, Dee. 2.—Just afternoon
yesterday Xavier Bodack was lock-
ed up at the Tour Courts, charged
with disturbing the peace. For a
few weeks past, up to last Satur-
day, Kodack, who is 24 years of
age, single and a native of Germa-
ny, bad been working in the malt
house of the Wainwright Brewing
Company, but owing to bis disposi-
tion lie was discharged by the fore-
man, Albert Heim. Rodack made
a loud protest, and used all kinds of
bad language* and threats. Before
he iclt the malt house he swore lie
would blow up tin* brewery with
dynamite. As he is lately irom
Chicago, and as he told some of his
new acquaintances that lie belong-
ed to a group of the “Reds” ,,f that
c!ty, Mr. Heim thought it best to
cool his anarchistic ardor, and so
and piano recital and on the see- had him arrested for disturbing the
peace. Rodack denies that he
said he was an anarchist, and said
he only abused Mr. Heim because
he bad treated him roughly. The
case will be tried to-day in Judge
Cady’s court.
ond will be rendered the grand

f Hi Saturday last occurred tiie mar-
riage of Mrs. Thus. Roney, four
weeks alter the death of her hus-
band. 1 pon the arrival at the
Roney homestead of the newly
married pair, the husband, Frank
Hull, was met by one of the Roney
boys with a shotgun, and ordered
to leave the place. Hall, probably
concluding that discretion was the
hotter part of valor, took to his
heels and made himself scarce.
