Mark Collins Is Home
Mark Colins has returned to
White Deer after serving with the
Medics in Vietnam. He arrived
here Friday afternoon: and plans to
enjoy visiting all of his friends and
relatives until January 2. He will
leave White Deer then for San
Francisco, California, where he
wll finish his Army service.
Visitors In Bcten Home
Mr. and Mrs. W. Baten were
hosts to several 'guests over the hol-
idays. Those visiting were Linda
Johnson from Baton Rouge, La.;
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Webb and girls,
Canyon; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond
Baten and family, Richardson,
Texas; Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Craw-
ford and girls from Lubbock; and
Mr. and Mrs. Dalrymple of Lefors.

Former Resident Has Shower
Ann Lewis, a former White Deer
resident, was honored with a bridal
shower in Panhandle in the home
of Mrs- Clyde A. Bennett this
week. Those attending from White
Deer were Mrs. Floyd Lewis, Sr.,
grandmother of the bride, and Mrs.
T. F. Collins.
Christmas In San Antonio
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bray, Juli-
ana and Collin left Sunday for San
Antonio to spend the Christmas hol-
idays with Doug’s family. They have
been visiting with the Joe Wheeleys
for the past several weeks.

HAVE DINNER - MEETING
Members of the Council and city
employees met at Ruth’s Steak
House Friday evening, December
6, for a special dinner meeting.
