FOR ALL YOUR FAVORS
During the past 26 years, CAUDLE’S CAFE has become a
landmark in Mineola. The splendid patronage from everyone
in Mineola and this territory, has made this business a suc-
cess. We give you all the credit. We came to Mineola as a
boy 33 years ago. Here we have built our business and rear-
ed our son. Mineola will continue to be our home—there is no
finer place. We have given you the highest type of service at
all times and feel that we have succeeded, else you would not
have aided us in this success.
We hope that you will continue to favor my successors, the
Collins Brothers, and that their business, too, will be a suc-
cess. We will consider it a personal favor for you to do so.
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. Mrs. Caudle joins
with me in appreciation. Best of luck to all of you, our
neighbors and friends.
Miles Caudle

I& Ufz sta You Ja Give Tltem a Bn&edz!
A furlough home after months on fighting
fronts ... a week-end pass or a leave before
departing "over there.”
That’s why we are asking you not to plan
trips during the holiday season... December
12th to January 12th ... so that men and
women in the service on furloughs may visit
home. It is one of America’s ways of saying
"Merry Christmas” to these fine folks.
Every month thousands upon thousands of
service men and women board trains under
military orders to ride away to the business
of war.
To move them during an average month
takes more than half of all sleeping cars and
one-third of all coaches in the country. With
limited passenger equipment available (and
we can’t buy any more), we are doing our
best to handle our share of the load and serve
our civilian patrons. We ask your coopera-
tion ... postpone your holiday trip____It’s
up to You to Give Them a Break.
