THE CONVICTED PARTIES.
Out of the twenty-one felony convic-
tions secured during the starch term one
new usei waa arranted five cases will
go up to the higher courts on aspeal and
six of the cuavtcted parties will be trans-
ported to the Atate penitentiary to serve
their respective terms. Those who will
be furniahed transportation to the peni-
tentiary and wbo will leave within the
next few daya are Willie Fletcher alias
Slick. Eugene lira bam. Ed Whltflatd.
Nathan Turner alias John Williams.
Clyde Pulllam and Eugene Banders.
The cases that will be carried to the
higher court In an effort to I averse the
verdicts rendered by the Juries are these
of Nathan Turner alias John Willie rae.
who drew two yeara for burglary: Cbartie
Armstrong who drew flfieen jeers on
the charge of second degree murder;
George Henderson who drew six years on
the charge of burglary; L. A. Fuller who
drew five yeara on the charge of murder
In the second decree and Prank Richard-
son who drew five years en the charge
of burglary.
While Nathan Turner alias Joha Will-
lams la awaiting a decision of the higher
court on the case to be appealed by him.
he will be serving terms in tour other
caaea aggregating a toal of nineteen years
In the penitentiary. The necessary pa-
pers for his removal to prison have al-
ready beea prepared and be will travel
with the balance of the prteonera next
week.
Eugene 8andera will travel to the State
penitentiary alone. Hie partner. Our
Klrtcb. who waa tried and convicted In
the same cses. was carried to Port
W'orth last night by a deputy sheriff who
came to t his city and demanded the pris-
oner on a bench warrant ieaued by one
of the district Judges of Tarrant county.
Klrtcb waa taken back to Pert Worth to
answer criminal charges pending against
him there. In four caaea in which he
and Jean Sanders were Jointly tried he
received a total of twelve years in the
penitentiary.
