EXCITING RUNAWAYS.
Young Salesman Stopped One of the
Mad Animals.
There wore ln exciting runaway yester-
day afternoon on Main street. The first one
was down near the corner of Congress and
the horses dashM up t" the corner of Fres-
lon. A lady was In the t'Uirgy. hut was un-
chle to hold the horse. A clerk at the drug
store on the corner rsn out and gnhhed the
horie hy t.ie bit and brought him to a stand-
still. Iater In the evening a horse with a hucgy
containing a lady ran away coming up Main
itreet. In front of the Htnz building entrance
the vehicle collided with two other vehicles.
There were ladles in eich of the other two
buggies. The shock of the collision threw
all t-i the pav.-meni. hut m-ne was Injured.
