After losing a 1 to 0 decision in the first game of the double
bill at West End Sunday afternoon Jack Knight went back to
the hill in the second encounter and continued to hurl pucture

one run in the 2." innings.
Adams and Morrison were Bob
Coleman's hurliug choices and both
of the flilH'frs were mixing their
stuff in a mystifying manner. Both

Both men were in fine shape and

on the peg were a common thing and
frequently the fans were thrilled by
seeing tne contestanta hurl four ring

tense and eiciting.
bvery game waa hard fought. Every
npw and then one or the other player
wvuiu seem in araaru inning omnia
and then show hia stuff nulling down
the lead his opponent had piled un.
throwing on a few singles and dou
bles and delighting the fans to the

very little of yanking tne crown away
from Selvidge.
Selvidge beat him only by a small
