LL merchantable timber on approximately 20000 acres in upper
Newton County Texas estimated by Lemieux Brothers or New Or-
leans in 1920 at something over elarhty million feet of which' about
"35 per cent is pine balance hardwood mostly oak of good quality. Time
allowed for removal of a large portion of this timber expires July 1st
1932 but other expirations range from 1927 to 1936.
This timber was accumulated through a period of years by Filler-Link
Lumber Company as a separate milling proposition. It will be sold by
O. S. Parker Special Master Commissioner under order of the Federal
Court made in receivership proceedings at Newton Texas January 2nd
1923jat upset price of $325000.00. Terms one-fifth cash balance in four
equaTinstallments payable at intervals of six months with 6 per cent in-
terest secured by vendor's lien and deed of trust; with liberal cutting
privileges.
Abstracts of title have been recently examined by Baker Botts Parker
& Garwood of Houston Texas and their opinions on titles involved are
available-for inspection by prospective purchasers to whom more detailed
information will be furnished on request by addressing George W. Brown
and J. O. Sims Receivers of the Miller-Link Lumber Company at Beau-
mont or Orange Texas.

JACKSONVILLE. Texaa Dec 17.
The Jacksonville Rotary club will hold
their annual banquet in-the dining
room of the liberty hotel on the even-
ing of December il. Elaborate plans
are being made for the entertainment
of some 100 guests.
Dewltt McMurray of Dallas will de-
liver the address of the evening. This
will also be the ladles' night with the
club and they will furnish a t0-minute
program. The meeting will also be
