Bobcats 40, Daniel Baker 0.
S. W. T. N.’s goal line has yet to
be crossed.
The Bobcats have run up 20 2
points to their opponent’s 3 not
had.
Ramsay got away for a clear field
in the first quarter and ran 50 yards
before being tackled.
With the ball on the 1-yard line
at the beginning of the second
quarter, Swede stepped across the
line for the second touchdown.
Shelton was on the receiving end
of three passes, one for 40 yards, for
30 yards and in the last quarter, one
for 10 yards.
Claude Kellam at right tackle
played a star game, getting many
tackles.
Coers ran bait way across the field
before passing to Capt. J. Kellam f.d
’ touchdown in the last quaitci.
Swede fights ’em off with one hand
and passes with the other.
Rode was up to his old trick of
stealing the ball in the fourth
quarter. ’ j^ili
That line held like a brick wail
and few first downs were made thru
it.
The full back for Daniel Baker
was some line plunger. We have
noticed that each team playing on
Evans Field has had at least one
good man.
That full back could also put his
foot in the ball. In the first quarter
he booted one 65 yards.
Storey at left half played a good
game; in the third quarter he inter-
cepted a pass and ran 50 yards be-
fore being tackled.
Tom Howell was on tne jm, re-
covering a fumble in the second quar-
ter.
Side stepping and stiff arming,
Swede ran 35 yards around right end
in the last quarter. When it comes
to broken field running Swede is
there.

NAPKIN NOTES
FOOTBALL DOPE
Baylor beat the Oklahoma Aggies
7 to 0 at Stillwater.
Southwestern beat Baylor 7 to 0 at
Waco.
Bobcats tied Southwestern 3 to 3
at Georgetown.
Make all the racket you can—and
then some!
By the way, isn’t it a great
schedule? Five big games at home
and only three away!
What’s the matter with Normal?
Sire’s ail right! ,
What’s the matter with Arnold?
He’s all right!
He’s opened up an eating place
That brings a smile to every face •
We’ll all join in and eat a race—
If you’ll pay the bill.
And right out there in the waiting
line
To get free lunch don’t hoist your
sign;
Just step in front of that boy of
thine—
He’ll have to pay the bill.
Now walk inside the open
And see jonn juggle glasses to the
floor;
What does it matter if he breaks
more—•
The State pays the bill.
The hash slinger is an inspiration
For mixing beans in conglomeration;
Just smile and he’ll give you full
ration—
It you pay the bill.
Don’t be like some about whom we’ve
read
And hide your butter with your
bread;
Be fair and pay for all you’re fed—
That makes the bill.
To see Mr. Arnold is a treat
Dipping cream for you to eat.;
Even if he “tickle toes” with his
feet—
It’s worth the bill.

Let’s all hang together and yell

MISS BRANNON’S FATHER DIES
The girls who came to the Y. W.
meeting last Wednesday afternoon
enjoyed a splendid program in the
form of beautiful solos toy Misses
Berry and Tarkmton, and a splendid
reading by Miss Garrison. Miss
Bowden read the lesson from 30tn
Psalm. Owing to the change in the
time of meeting the attendance was
greatly increased, and we hope that
each meeting will be greater then
the last.
Remember that we are meeting on
Wednesday at the eighth period in-
stead of Thursday after school.
Eyery-one is invited to come next
Wednesday and help make this tin-
best year ever for the Association.
We expect to have joint programs
with the Y. M. C. A. in the near
future. Of course this will make
the work more interesting.

Miss Jeanne Brannon was suddenly
called home Monday on account of
her father's illness, which later re-

Miss Brannon will return to school is
not known. The entire Normal deep-
