PERSONALS
Dave Donohue ’09 recently called on
his old teacher Brother Peter J. Schlitt.
After spending a few years with the Geo-
logical Survey he went into business for
himself as a consulting engineer. He is
now in the employ of one of the large oil
corporations. It is reported that he dis -
covered the Luling fields, which honor,
of course Dave modestly disclaims. In
any case., he must have done something
to land such a big job.

The thrill that comes once in a life
time; that sends the red blood tingling
in your veins and your breath comes in
quick gasps; the one that makes your
chest heave and your tongue cleave to
the roof of your mouth; yes even your
heart stops beating, it seems, and you
close your eyes in pure bliss: Yea, taking
a cold shower after a hot football prac-
tice.
