evening. I think it had something to do with
the drink he served us. It was called “Naked
on the Bathroom Floor” and the drink is
called that for a good reason. I think he was
just getting after I “leaked” that Big House
story on him last week. Prior to the drink I do
remember a great spotlight performance by
Whitney Paige onstage at the Station.
*Tphe International Gay Bowling Org-
1 anlzatlon 1992 Bid Committee
thanks the Round-Up Saloon for giving
them a home for their Sunday Beer Busts in
January. The IGBO Bid Committee will also
be holding a 9-pin no-tap tournament on Feb.
4 at Heart Bowl (Northwest Highway at
Webbs Chapel). They’re trying to convince
the international bowling organization to
bring their finals tournament to Dallas in
1992, and why not? It will be a chore hosting
all those hunky bowlers and their big balls,
but somebody’s got to do it!
n randi’s special guests at the Wednesday
JDHump Night Show at Jugs on Feb. 7
will be Lisa Bryson and former Ms. Gay
Kansas Trish Gailey. along with Marcia,
Jugs’ regular blonde bombshell. After Lisa
ripped the sink from the wall in the Jugs’
restroom on a previous visit, they’re wonder-
ing if they need to take out more insurance
before “Bruiser Bryson” returns Wednesday."
IT ere’s some of what’s going on around
Xi. town. This Sunday is Tom Levi Sun-
day at the Ripcord. Sundays there are always
fun and I usually manage to get myself in
trouble (which reminds me of more things to
include in my bondage and fantasy opening
to this week’s column) .. Larry (Loretta)
at Michael’s has got me hooked on his
favorite shot. It’s an “Ooh Baby" and now
Michael’s is my first traditional stop on Satur-
days to get the evening rolling. Last Saturday I
even ran into Ray with his tattoo of Abraham
Lincoln. This is the below-the-belt tattoo with
a very authentic beard — and I’ve pulled it
more than once .... Cruz’ Cafe was the site
of the Mexican Fiesta get-together of the new
Imperial Sovereign Royal Court of the
Lone Star Empire Dinner and door prizes
were in the offing along with the opportunity
to meet their board of directors and Court
members .... Phyllis Diller and Evette
Cobrice keep things rolling at the Blue
Parrot’s Sunday night Amateur Drag Con-
tests — Dallas’ own Trella Thomas is now
appearing in the musical hit La Cage Aux
Folles at the Town and Gown Theater, the
State Theater of Alabama I will be on hand
at this Sunday night’s show at Bamboleo’s,
which is now busy preparing for their Miss
Hispanic Metroplex 1990 Pageant on
February 15th and 16th.... And we didn’t just
roast Carmen del Rio last Thursday at the
Round-Up, we barbequed her as a send-off
and birthday celebration. Carmen’s moving
to Florida, but she also warns that she will be
back. I will be back, too — next week, in fact.
See you then.
The women at Desert Moon will be treated to country & western singer
Dena Kaye tonight.
It wasn’t a white sale but the shopping was still terrific at the Wave’s White Party.
