what of the same nataro
Tbe Cotton Worm attacks only tbe
oottou plant bis ravages are con
fined to it alono He is a native of
tbe South and he is confined to tbe
cotton district Be hibernates iu
the shape of a moth in trash piles
and in other warm places
The socalled Boll Worm ie con-
fined to no particular section r he is
foundu > hH parts of North Ameiica
He is known by different names in-
different localities In the fruit
growing states be is known as tbe
Fruit Worm in I bo hortionltural
distriot as the Tomaloo Worm the
Bean Worm and by various other
names accorJing to tbe vegetable
upon which be feeds in tbe corn
districts be is called tbo Corn Worm
and in tbe cotton districts the Boll-
Worm He first appears as tbe Cat
Worm and later on be is called the
Silk and the Cora Worm During
the corn season from three to four
breads are produced He remains on
the corn until it being to harden
when be leaves it aud attacks tbe
cotton boll confining himself ex-
clusively to the fruit of the plant
One Boll Worm will destroy from
ten to fifty bolls He bibernatos iu
tbo chrysalis stale and always under-
ground lie will live in this way
through Ilia Winter and survive tbe
coldest weather
It is evident that any meanB for
the destruction of these pests must be
based ou their nature and habits

gives effective and inexpensive mean
for their destruction abd from im-
munity from their ravages which is
based upon a peculiar habit common
to the entire Lepidoptera family of
moths tSafr produce these destructive

50 cents Tbe farmer or gardener
may be freed from the ravages of all
of tbe above named insects at a coast
of from 25 cents to 100 depending
upon the size of his garden or farm
