ARIES (Mar. 21 - Apr. 20):
Social life should be active. Some
of you may need to resist
temptation to be unfaithful and to
avoid those “take to“ apartments.
TAURUS (Apr. 21 - May 21):
Keep your financial plans to
yourself. News of something may
help your business plans. Not
favorable for Xmas shopping - you
might get a shopping cart that
costs $400 a mile.
GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):
Some of you may have a
friendship jeopardized by jealousy
of a partner. Might concern plans
for the holidays. “Some people
who have everything really need a
partner who can pay for it.”
CANCER (June 22 - July 23):
Finances may improve but you
can waste it by gambling it away.
Guesses are apt to be wrong.
Some of you may feel that old
age is creeping upon you. Cheer
up - it may be only cheap
underwear.
LEO (July 24 • Aug. 23):
Sudden financial instincts are not
to be trusted. Remember, the
“Internal Revenue Service” is the
world’s most successful mail-order
business.” Money quarrels pos-
sible.
VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):
Avoid doing things on impulse.
Haste can get you out on a
financial limb. Family problems
possible. New romance possible
for singles.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23): A
secret sorrow possible for some of
you - one you can’t share. Avoid
self-pity - try to solve your
problems. “If at first you don’t
succeed, keep on sucking until
you do ‘suckceed’.”
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):
An unexpected expense possible
but you’ll be able to manage. It
might concern a friend. If you are
obligated to anyone either socially
or morally, now is a good time to
take care of it.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec.
22): Someone may come to you
with a hard luck story with their
tongue hanging out. We’ll say,
“Check and see if it is because of
no shoe laces. Stop being a
chump.”
CAPRICORN (Dec. 23 - Jan.
20): You may be busier than
usual. Don’t burn the candle at
both ends. Legal problems pos-
sible.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19)i
Some of you may have to seek
business advice and use care in
whom you trust for it. Follow
budget carefully when Xmas
shopping. “Don’t buy this year’s
presents with next year’s money.”
PISCES (Feb. 20 • Mar. 20):
Touchy situations possible. Try to
avoid them. Be careful and not
step on any toes. Don’t let
financial problems lead to liquor
problems.

New Trout Limits Dec. 1
December 1st is the effective
date of the new state law that
limits the Nize and number of
speckled trout that can be taken
by sport anglers. The minimum
size “keeper” is 12 inches and
the daily bag limit is 20 trout,
with a possession limit of 40.
In order for the benefits of this
protective regulation to aid the
fishery, it is important that the
undersize fish released be handl-
ed carefully to improve their
chances of survival.
Trout are delicate fish that
injure easily in handling, with
most injuries leading to fatality. If
the following practices are used
by anglers, the young fish will
have an improved chance of
reaching maturity:
1. Handle the fish as little as
possible. Some of the new devices
for removing hooks are a great
help in reducing the amount of
handling that is necessary to
release the fish.
2. Moisten hands in salt water
before handling the fish.
3. NEVER grasp the fish under
the gill plates. The gills are
fragile and easily damaged in a
fatal manner.
4. Grasp the fish gently on the
outside of the gill covers, without
excessive squeezing while remov-
ing the hook.
5. DO NOT SQUEEZE the fish
in the abdomen area.
6. If the fish is removed from
the water, it should be for the
shortest time possible.
7. Avoid rubbing scales and
slime from the fish’s body during
handling.
AND HOPE THE FISH SUR-
VIVES SO THAT THERE WILL
BE TROUT TO CATCH IN THE
TEXAS BAYS FOR YEARS TO
COME.
