Dear Memberá and Friends:
The following sliould háve been in

than never.
A JI oř us at Lodge No 84 want to
thank Brother. Yaleik for rnaking the
iong trip froni Houston to shov/ us here
in Dallas the moving pictures he took
whiie touring Czechosiovakia, this last
Jaly. Included were some films taken by
Brother Skrabanek, from Hon ston, and
our own President, Brother Sid Poklad-
ník. In addition, Brother Pokladník
showed us pictures he took when he vis--
ited South America. Many thanks to
these two gentlemen also, from the bot-
tom of our hearts.
Many persons attended this showing
and enjoyed it very much. I am sure it
brought back imiany wonderful memories
for tliose who came from- Czechoslovakia
and it also gave us, who were born here,
an insight into where our ancestors
lived.
At the end of the showing a free of-
fering of $96.20 was donated plus $5.00
from m individual, which totaled $101.
20. This was added to the fund for the
Rest Home for the aged.
STOP! LOOK! RE AD!
A Halloween Party will be given by
Lodge No. 84 for all youngsters. So bring
the little ones, dresed in costumes, to
help the goblíns celebrate this night.
The dáte is Thursday, October 31 and
the time is 8 ]>. m.
Our sick list includes Brothers Frank
Ježek, Bob Kolenovsky and Nagda Rez-'
cek. We all hope that they are all well
by now.
The next dance on our schedule will
be on Saturday, November 2, It will be
a Barn Dance, so come appropriately
dressed, such as overalls, yeans, ging-
h.ams, plaids. Your aócessories cán in-
clude sraw liats, boots, etc. Just come
comfortably dressed and enjoy your-
self.
Dear miembers, don’t forget that our
Lodge meetings are still held on the
3rd Sunday of ©ach month. The Nov-
ember meeting will be on the 17th. Só
come and express your opinion or just
listen. You’11 find it interesting either
way. So, do come and Support your
lodge wholeheartedly by attending the
meetings, dances and Family Nights.
