KOVÁŘ, TEXAS
Bear Sisters and Brothers:
The month of September 1959 should
be remembered as a banner month of
our great SPJST because during this
month aecording to the reports from
the Supřeme Lodge we háve sold more
Insurance than in any single previous
month. How did it all happen? What
was behind all this sudden activity?
No doubt that the queen contests played
a mojor part, that is where our youth
come in, some of the princesses really
did a whale of a jota helping our oř-
gahizers, and that is what it takés, it
takés the combined efforts of all of
as not just a few. It proved that if
the work is doně in good spirit it is
bound to succced. That is reál fraternal-
ism.
The idea of a queen contest was a
great one, car Viee President, Brother
Hejny cl ose rveš to be highly compliment-
ed for promoting it and working so hard
for it.
Any i,bing that we cen do to get our
youth interested should be doně be-
cause today’s yor.th will be our future
leaders and workers, they are the most
important element in our ranks let us
not fail them. I ani thankful to all Dis-
irict I organizers for their splendid work
they are doing, we háve already reached
our quota for the year. I ani very proud
of all of you and I appmciate it very
much, but let us not slov down, but
keep right on so that at the end oř
this year we could .lo'k back with pride
at our achievcment for the year. It is
really a pleasure to report the progress
for last month, September. It is the best
one yet.
