The construction of this new
lodge halí has had the generál
support of the vast majority of the
membership ojf Lodge No. 1177.
When the lodge was organized and
chartered in July and December
1973, respectively, the talk had
taken plače all along a.bout a new
building in the near future for the
new lodge. In the August 1973
meeting a motion was made that
the lodge would look into the pos-
sibilities of constructing a new
lodge halí and securing a building
site. A committee appointed to look
for a building site consisted of Wil-
lie Dušek, Blily Joe Moore, and
James Bland. After considerable
searching and after help from

About February 15th of this year

the lodge home started.
The building measures 100 x 150
ft. with a total floor space of
15,000 sq. feet. The dance floor
area consists of 4,500 sq. feet. Fa-

room, nursery, stage with dressing
rooms, and of course, centi*al air-
conditioning and heating.
The pouring of the concrete
foundation was doně at a nice dis-

Since the first bit of earth was
moved on this site, Brother Jerry
Tomastik has been present to sup-
ervise and oversee the entire proj-

at the building site seeing that
everything fell into plače properly.
