LODGE NO. m CHORÁL GROUP
Dear Pellow Members:
How do you like these beautiful fall
days? Isn’t it wonderful to be living in
such wonderful sunshine? It makes
one want to sing and sing really loud
to make other happy and that ís just
what our Chorál Club did last night.
Some of you were missing. Why? I am
sure some of you háve a good reason
but most of us háve become a líttle
indifferent.
I háve often heard this answer when
asking many of you to sing in the
Chorál Club: “I can’t sing.” Well,
neither can I but in such a wonderful
group, you would be surprised how
much easier it is to sing' and before
you know it, it becomes even easier
and you look forward to those Thurs-
day nights, so why not become a mem-
ber of our Linden Lodge Chorál Club?
We would be most happy to háve you
and feel sure you can learn how to
sing and wouldn’t that be worth some-
thing to you the rest of your life?
I am sure it would.
Gthers háve told me that they just
can’t pronounce those Czech words.
That may be true but a little persis-
tence will soon make it easier for you
and learning a few Czech words or any
other words for that matter means an
aceomplishment — a worthwhile ac-
complishment. For those who would
like to learn to pronounce Czech words
before singing I will be happy to be on
hand at the halí an hour earlier and
help you with the pronunciation of
the words that are hard for you. just
come early and leťs get started this
Thursday.
Leťs all be proud of our Chorál Club
and leťs help it to the best of our abi-
lity. Leťs all put our shoulders to the
wheel and start pushing for the best
Chorál Club in all the SPJST. We can
do it and do it well, so leťs get start-,
ed and see how many of us will tum

out on Thursday night. We háve some
very easy songs to sing and pride in
our lodge should make ts want to be
a part of everything in the lodge.
Our harvest, dance last Saturday
turned out to be a riot of fun and hi-
larity. Everyone who attended enjoyed
it a lot and many háve sald they had
the best time of their lives. This Sat-
urday we will háve the well-known Pa-
velka Orchestra of Robstown. They
play the kind of music that everyone
enjoys, whether you love polkas and
Waltz es, or the modern music. You will
hear all your favorites. Come out and
háve fun.
