ager of Belíon Senior Center. This
donation is to help sponsor the
"Meals on Wheels" program vvhich
delivers meals to senior citizens who
are unable to háve a hot meal each
day. Academy SPJST is very proud
of this donation made to this organi-
zation and other worthy organiza-
íions. Through the activities of íhe
members and lodge, they are able to
sponsor such chariíabíe programs as
these.

Burleson
Another beautiful spring month has
gone by since our last meeting. Now it
is linie řor another meeting to be heid
on May 5, 1992. The trustees’ meeting
to be held at 6:30 p.m. and the regular
meeting to follow.
Our last meeting was held on April 7
with a nice crowd present. The roli call
of officers and trustees revealed most
were present.
Secretary Barbara Hartgraves read
the minutes of our last meeting and the
minutes were approved as read. All
other reports were given and accepted
as given.
George Rippin, our maintainance
handy man, reported on doing a lot of
iittle repairs on the halí. Thank you,
George.
After the business meeting an enjoy-
able buffet dinner was held during the
fraternal hour. All the food was
brought by the members.
Dooř prizes were won by Joyce Rus-
seli and Joe Hurtik, Jr.
Thanks to all those who attended our
last meeting and hope that on May 5
we will háve even a larger crowd.
Members should také an active part
and be sociable.
Remember our country-western
dances every Saturday night from 8:30
p.m. until 12:30 a.m.
Hope everyone had a nice Easter,
and hope our newly-adopted grand-
children in Logan, Utah found a lot of
eggs.

Helio from Lodge 188:
We had an Eastern Star District 4
school on March 19, 1992 and íwo
hundred members were here. Everyone
enjoyed themseives.
We are having a fund-raising project
on a TV which will be given away on
July 4th. Proceeds wii] go to Kýle Ellis
Scholarship Fund.
Remember, we háve dances every
Saturday night and the dates and bands
booked for May are listed below:
May 9 -- Scott Hoyt
May 16 — Sterling Country
May 23 — Speciál Edition
May 30 -- Derek Hartes
Hope everyone will come and háve a
good time.
We also háve sociál games every
Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. and every
Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Ladies Circle of
Fort Worth
The Ladies Circle of Lodge No. 92
met April 13íh at 10:30 a.m. aí the Na-
tional Halí with President Clara Cohen
presiding. "Easter Parade" was the
theme song which matched all the
pretty decorations on the tables. A
lovely Easter bonnet was won by Billie
Starr, who agreed to wear it during the
meeting and luncheon.
Three new members were intro-
duced. They are Henrietta Piicher,
Betty Whitehead and Annie David.
Welcome to our circle, ladies.
Reading of the minutes of our last
meeting and the treasureťs report were
approved and filed as read.
Sunshine chairman gave a report on
cards sent to members and their fami-
lies which included a sympathy card to
Imogene Reaves on the death of her
brother. We were glad to see Art Gillis
again. Also, it was reported that Maria
Prill is waiting for a donor for an eye
transplaní. We hope this second sur-
gery will be successful.
May hostesses will be Frances Laux,
Kitíy Rippin, Aurora Maldino and
Mary Frances Windham.
Old Business: Discussion was held
on our plans to invite the Dallas Circle
of Czech Women to be our guests at a
speciál party possibly in October.
Marie Tesař made a motion that an in-
vitation be sent and motion carried.
Further plans will be made when a
reply is received. Members of the
Friendship Club offered to join in giv-
ing the party. A motion by Martha
Durham that they join us and share the
expenses was seconded and approved.
Thaťs a generous ořfer and much ap-
preciated. More details will follow in
later meetings.
Birthday wishes were sung to Joyce
Tesař, Henrietta Pilscher and Martha
Durham.
Before the meeting adjourned, plas-
tic Easter eggs were passed out for a
contest. Trying to throw the egg into a
smáli basket for prizes wasn’t easy but
a lot of fun. Some of the ladies tried
several times until all 13 prizes were
won. After that excercise, it was lunch
time, followed by game time. Forty-
one ladies and eight men enjoyed the
food and fellowship.
Hope your Easter was a joyous one.

Dear Members and Friends:
Hope you all had a nice Easter.
Our meeting was ca Hed to order by
President Jo Prochaska and led us in
íhe pledge to our flag.
The minutes by Merel Kovar and
treasureťs report by Lydia Alholm
were approved as read.
Anna Johnson reported on all cards
sent and was thanked from Jo Pro-
chaska for her card.
The membership decided for us hav-
ing a "White Elephant Sále" at our
May 6th meeting, so find something
thaťs been hid for so long and wrap it
up.
Hostesses for our next meeting will
be Geneva Hennessey, Rosemary Grib-
ble and Elma Anderson.
Dooř prize winners were Jo Pro-
chaska and Josephine Bugaj. Dooř
prize for May will be brought by Jose-
phine Bugaj.
We hope Ida Garrett is feeling better.
"Happy Birthday" was sung to Lydia
Alholm and Annie Whitsiil. May you
háve many more.
After the Blessing a delicious lunch
and games followed and enjoyed by
all.
A "Happy Motheťs Day to all the
mothers.

Reunions
Mikulencak Reunion
The Mikulencak family reunion will
be held on Saturday, May 9, 1992 in
the dining halí at the McKinney Falls
State Park near Austin, Texas. Anyone
and everyone with a Mikulencak in
their ancestry is invited to attend.
Come and enjoy our fellowship, study
our Mikulencak family genealogicaí
chart, which goes back to 1610, and let
us help you figuře out where your
family fits into this chart. Activities
will start at 10 a.m. The main meal
will be at 12:30 p.m. and lunch at 4:30
p.m. Please bring a covered dish —a
meat dish and a vegetable, dessert or
salad. Bring your favorite beverage!
Tea, coffee and punch will be served.
The program and business meeting
starts at 2 p.m. This time our program
will include the projection and ex-
planation of color slides of the area
from which all Mikulencaks are known
to háve come. The slides show the
beauty of our ancestral homeland.

Reunion
A reminder to all ex-students and
teachers. The fifth Red Ranger School
reunion will be held May 3, 1992
SPJST Lodge No. 24 (Flag Halí) in

at 10:00 a.m. and lunch will be served

Reunion
The Palacky-Macedonia School re-
union will také plače May 17, 1992
(alí day affair) at SPJST Halí (Lodge
No. 20) in Granger, beginning with
registration at 10 a.m. Bring enough
covered dishes for a 12 noon meal.
(Piates, cups, party-packs, tea, coffee
and bread will be provided.) Dooř
prizes will be given, also an auction
will be held to generate funds for ex-
