We also had a transfer come into our
lodge. We would like to welcome Car-
los San Miguel. We hope to meet you
soon. Also, Tom Stavinoha read a
thank you letter from Madison Jan for
buying her roaster at the Needville
Youth Fair. It was announced that
Conner Večera will receive a $1,000
SPJST Scholarship, and Jessica Zellars
will receive a $500 scholarship from
our lodge. Tom Stavinoha will present
them with scholarship certificates on
May 30 at the scholarship awards pro-
gram at Needville High School.
Under other business, Tom Stavi-
noha said that we had two cancellations
for the halí bookings. Since they were
both unforeseen circumstances, it was
voted to give them back at least half of
their deposits, unless the halí gets
booked on those days, then they will
receive a full refund of their deposits.
Also under other business, Tom Stavi-
noha said that Bradley Stavinoha had
checked on replacing/repairing the
lodge sign in the front yard, but Tom
Stavinoha suggested that we wait until
the road right in front of our lodge is
finished with repairs.
Dooř prize winners were Maxx
Stavinoha, Dorothy Kuban, Willie Mae
Kuykendall, Winnie Susan, and Jaime
Mikulec. Congratulations to our lucky
winners.
Next Meeting—June 16
For our next meal on June 16, it was
decided that Bradley Stavinoha will
piek up a meat platter at Laďs Smoke-
house. The kitchen committee will
pro vide bread, lettuce, and tomatoes.
Members, please bring chips, dips, and
a dessert. See you at the next meeting.

Sarah Rinaldi participated in a
choir competition at the Sound-
wave Competition in New Braun-
fels, Texas. Her choir group from
St. Anthony Catholic School won
Superior and Best in Class. Sarah
is the daughter of Frank and
Stephanie Rinaldi of San Antonio
and granddaughter of Mark and
Virginia Rebecek of Corpus
Christi.
