SPJST hosts its Annual
Statewide Barbecue Cook-
Off and Summer Fair at
Lodge 47, Seaton Star Halí
this Friday, July 14 and
Saturday, July 15. Seaton
Star Halí is a pleasant five-
mile drive east of Temple,
just off Highway 53.
Festivities begin with a free
concert on Friday, July 14 at
8 p.m. with family-oriented
entertainment by Johnny
Mandeli and the Muddcatts.
If you missed Elvis and
Beatles the first time around,
this is your chance to enjoy a
reál treat!
A speciál classic car dis-
play will be set up on Friday
evening. Those with classic
and/or show cars are invited
to display their vehicles,
beginning at 6 p.m.
Food and beverages will
be available during the
evening at the halí.
Johnny Mandeli, first
plače winner of the Elvis
Tribute Competition,
brings his MuddCatts to
Seaton Star Halí for a free
family concert on Friday,
July 14. Meet the
Muddcatts on page 5.
In addition to the barbecue
cook-off, there will be a
silent auction to support the
SPJST Scholarship Program.
