LODGE NO. 35, ELK
Dear Members and Friends:
President Henry Brietkruetz Sr.
called the reguiar monthly meeting of
Lodge No. 35, Elk to order Juty 13 at 3
p.m. Ronald Steinke, flag bearer, led in
the pledge of allegiance.
We had several visitors, Evelyn
Bunkowski, Tillie Matus, Willie Thun,
Gary Niemeyer, and Jerry Holle &
Chris.
The minutes were read by Secretary
Albert Banik. He also read correspond-
ence received from the family of Bertha
Jander, and the family of James Holder.
The treasureťs report was given by
Henry Breitkruetz Jr.
Rosemarie Banik gave the youth dub
report. She had. on display, the crown
won by Charlotte Banik as “Miss
SPJST.” This is very much an honor for
Lodge 35. Congratulations Charlotte.
Sister Rosemarie stated that we also
had a .district king and duke, Eddie
Banik and Jason Brown. She then
recognized our lst plače winners at
Y.A.D. They were Richard Bumey,
Melissa Bumey, and Pam Thun. The
youth club has made plans for several
activities. They are looking forward to
going to camp.
The July birthdays, who were
recognized, were, Daniel and Jeff
Pechacek, Shannon Dulock, Jana and
Kathy Breitkruetz, and Henry Breit-
kruetz Sr. Hope all had a Happy
Birthday.
Committee reports were given by
Peggy Dieterich for kitchen, Johnny
Stuchly for refreshments and Albert
Banik for entertainment. Rudolf Vicha
gave the building chairman report.
New members accepted were Charles
R. Zost, Kenneth Wayne Zost and
James Elsworth Stead III. Mary
Norman had a paid-up certificate.
Under old business, it was voted to
reimburse the people who took their
cars to the Y.A.D. at Burleson since a
charter bus was not able to be attained.
Ťheré were several matters discussed
under new business. We had quite a
few people in the hospital, Donald
Steinke, Eugene Pavelka, Rudolf Vicha,
