VĚSTNÍK
Pflughaupt to elect the same slate of
officers by acclamation. The motion
was seconded by Ronnie Pflughaupt
with the addition of nominating
Sharon Fritsch as Fratemal Activities
Coordinator. Then Patsy’s motion
was amended to read Sharon’s nomi-
nation which was seconded by
Ronnie. The following were elected
by acclamation:
President Glenn Pflughaupt
Vice President Betty Heinsohn
Secretary Irene Polanský
Treasurer Brenda Minarcik
Fratemal Activities Coordinator
Sharon Fritsch
Sharon Fritsch suggested having
an Appreciation Day inviting new-
comers. Members decided not to
háve the April combined picnic with
Fayette Czech Heritage Society this
year and to háve the Appreciation
Day instead in April with the quarter-
ly meeting.
Ronnie Pflughaupt gave an update
on the youth club activities and
incentives, and he stated that Lodge 1
is eligible for the platinum youth
award for recruiting 10 new mem-
bers.
Donnie Victorick stated he was
quite excited about the lodge getting
involved in the youth club, and it has
really flourished in this area under
the direction of Youth Leader Ronnie
Pflughaupt. He reminded everyone
of the upcoming SPJST Awards
Banquet on Saturday, February 26,
2005, at the Killeen Civic and
Conference Center in Killeen. He
also invited everyone to the District
One Spring Meeting at New Tábor on
April 10. Donnie made a commit-
ment that he and Bili Orsak would
také officers out to a meal if the lodge
met its new member quota of 10.
There being no further business,
the meeting adjoumed.

hosts February 12
Valentine dance
Lodge 9, Snook Youth Club will
be hosting a Valentine Dance on
Saturday, February 12 from 7 to 11
p.m. The dance is open to every-
one—young and old—at no charge.
Sodas will be sold by the youth
club.
Come on out and bring the family
for a night of fun!

plans February 13
Valentine dance
Our Valentine Dance is Sunday,
February 13 from 3 to 7 p.m. with the
Dujka Brothers playing. Bring your
Valentine for a great time.
Also, we will háve an important
meeting on February 15. Training for
the new fire alarm systém will be
conducted. A potluck supper will be
served at 6 p.m. before the meeting.
