Meeting, Elections Tuesday, August 30 set for September 3 and 4 in Temple
Dear Members,
Active membership in a local lodge
is essential to building and maintaining
a strong fratemal organization. Mem-
bers of SPJST Lodge 181, Conroe and
other SPJST members living in the
vicinity of Conroe are cordially invited
to join in the excitement of reestablish-
ing an active lodge in Conroe.
Please make plans to join us for a
special-called meeting of Lodge 181,
Conroe on Tuesday, August 30, 2011,
at Ryan’s Family Buffet, located at
1413 North Loop 336 West in Conroe.
In appreciation of your attendance, din-
ner will be provided at 6:30 p.m. The
meeting starts at 7 p.m. and will in-
clude the election of lodge officers.
SPJST is a family organization that
works to the idea of Service to each
other and the community. With your
help, we will be successful in reacti-
vating Lodge 181, Conroe and helping
to make the community an even better
plače to live, work, and play. As an ac-
tive lodge member, you will háve the
opportunity to build programs that en-
able your young members to eam valu-
able charitable hours, qualify to attend
camp, and apply for scholarships.
Adult lodge programs can be designed
to pro vide an active and enjoyable en-
vironment for both young and old. As
an active member, you will also háve
the opportunity to participate in SPJST
charitable and sociál events, including
Join Hands Day in May and the Cor-
pus Christi Getaway in August.

I will conduct a training class on
Saturday, September 3 and Sunday,
September 4,2011, at the SPJST Home
Office, located at 520 North Main
Street in Temple.
Class will begin at 8:30 a.m. and break
for lunch around 12 noon each day. A
light meal will be served each day. Please
bring your rate books and laptop com-
puters. Dress will be business casual.

District Two Sales Agents' Annuity Meeting
this Thursday in Elgin
Dear District Two Agents,
I will be conducting meetings to dis-
tribute new, required forms to be com-
pleted when writing annuity
applications. These are additional
changes and requirements from Texas
Department of Insurance (TDI).
If you are licensed and háve com-
pleted the annuity certification require-
ments, you must attend one of these
meetings in order to continue selling
annuities. We will also discuss all
agents’ Universal Life (UL) certificates
and disseminate agents’ rosters for the
Universal Life certificates, procedures
to Service your Universal Life mem-
bers, and instructions on how to com-
plete any required exchanges.
The next meeting is Thursday, Au-
gust 25 at 6:30 p.m. at SPJST Lodge
18, Elgin, located on Highway 95.
A meal and drinks will be provided.
Bring completed applications to be
submitted for issue! See you in Elgin!
