Notice To All SPJST
Lodges In District VII
San Antonio Lodge 133 will be
hosting the District VII spring
meeting. The meeting will be held
April 20 at the St. Margaret Mary’s
Activity Halí, 1314 Fair Avenue.
We would liketo háve a report from
all the lodges in our district to give us
an account as to how many members
are going to attend the meeting. These
reports are very important to us
because we want to know how much
food we need to prepare. We will be
serving a dinner at 12:30 p.m.
The halí will be open at 12 noon and
registration begins immediately.
Meeting will convene at 1:30 p.m.
There will be a cash bar.
We hope to hear from you not later
than April 14th. Further information
will be in the Vestnik at a later dáte.

Lodge 4 Plans
April Meeting
Dear Members:
Our lodge met Sunday, February 9,
1986 at the Grant Building in
Hallettsville with Lodge President
Linda Mikush presiding.
Janelle Chudej led the members in
the pledge to the United States flag.
Gaye Galetka read resolutions of
sympathy for our departed members,
Jerome Bucek and John Trojcak.
Corresponding Secretary Erwin
Holý read the minutes to the last
meeting which were approved after a
minor correction. Correspondence
followed. Secretary Holý read the
names of our 50 - year members;
námely, Jerome Drozd, Lanelle
Koether, Mary Rabe! and Šelma
Woytek who will receive their pins in
the mail.
Treasurer Helen Zabranský, Co -
Youth Leader Gayneli Chudej and
Financial Secretary Hilmer Galetka
gave reports.
The members voted to rent a safety
deposit box at the bank for the lodge
to keep old records, lodge history, etc.
Members were reminded of the
District VI spring meeting to be held
Sunday, March 9th; since this is our
regular meeting dáte, the members
voted not to háve a March meeting.
Our next meeting will be Sunday, April
13th. The youth club plans to honor
Easter thať day. r;
The meeting adjourned. The ladies
enjoyed entertainment sponsored by
the youth club. Refreshments and
lunch were served.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, a
candy guessing game was held; lucky
winner was Gaye Galetka. A heart -
shaped candy box, the dooř prize, was
won by Janelle Chudej.
Members present with a birthday in
January, February or March were Ida
Neubauer, Elsie Mascheck and
Gayneli Chudej. Sister Elsie Mascheck
won the birthday cake.
Our next meeting will be Sunday,
April 13th at the Grant Building
beginning at 2 p.m. Refreshments and
lunch will be served as usual. Members
are encouraged to attend.

Lodge 18 To Host
District II Meeting
Elgin Jan Zizka Lodge No. 18 held
its regular meeting February 11, 1986.
Twenty - one members attended the
meeting which was on our coldest day
of the new year .
President Roy Simank opened the
meeting and the roli call of officers
showed our vice president and youth
leader were absent.
The minutes of the previous montlťs
meeting were read by Secretary Gilbert
Kubíček. They were approved as read.
The following reports were given
and approved; treasurer’s report by
Sister Alice Kovar, financial secretary
report - Brother Lambert Peterson,
bar chairman’s report - Sister Alice
Kovar, ticket chairman report — Sister
Gladys Mogonye, and
building/grounds’ report — Brother
Ruben Krieg.
In January, the Sesquicentennial
wagon train visited Elgin. As an on
going thing, members of the train
fllmed various traditional/ historial
events as they were rnaking their 3000
mile journey through this statě. Our
youth club was filmed performing the
