Moreno, who heads tho Texas Bal-
let Concerto Company, is also on
tlie faculty of Southwvsu 1 n l niver
city and the University of Texas.
The Texas Ballet Cnnomto group
is made up of 43 dancers who have
had many years of ballet and othei
dance training with leading teach-
ers in tho central Texas area. The
company was formed last season to
give these young dancers with much
training a showcase for the ir talents
and to provide top-flight ballet for
art patrons.
For the Georgi town performance
the group will present three ballets:

A native of Buenos Aires, Argen-
tina, Victor Moreno studied at the
i rati o Colon do Buenos Vires, be-
coming a professional dancer in
1911. Baalist of his extraordinary
ability, after only two years in the
t aps de ballet, he became soloist
and two years later Premier Dans-
eur. He was acclaimed by Serge
Filar on a nation - wide broadcast
as Aigcrtina’s most outstanding
male dancer.

have made him famous. His danc-
