A G When the Formula One U.S. Grand Prix racing event and all the attendant excitement hit Central Tex-

traffic management and public safety were able to effectively coordinate their activities.
A key component? CAPCOG's implementation of crisis information software WebEOC, used to share
real-time updates during the three days of F1 activities at the new Circuit of the Americas racetrack in
Council of Governments southeast Austin and at the Formula 1 Fan Fest in downtown Austin.
WebEOC, a Web-based information tool, allows personnel from multiple agencies at divergent loca-
