ijT Texas Sheep and (ioat Rais-
ers Association was held in Ban-
dera with the Bandera County
Ranchmen and Farmers Associa-
tion and the Bandera County
Livestock Improvement Associa-
tion as sponsors of the big two
day event.
General headquarters was at
the Frontier Hotel where registra-
tion began on Friday afternoon.
The afternoon was spent in visit-
ing by the incoming ranchmen and

the Junior class of the Medina
I High School will present their
I class play which will be the very
)delightful comedy, “Cracked Nuts.”
The curtain will go up promptly
at 8 p.m. and the admission is 25c
for children and 50c* for adults. A
synopsis of the play we give be-
low;
Rich Miss Drusilla Nutt, never
having had the opportunity of a
higher education, is determined her
nieces, Peggy and Ginger Nutt,
shall go to college. They can’t
have allowances, go to movies or
have beaux; all they can do is
study to become old maid school
teachers! Aunt Drusilla must
leave for a rest cure. She orders
[her housekeeper, the mournful Mr.
Garfinke, to keep a strict eye on
Her rebellious nieces. Desperate'
for some ‘‘good time” money Peg-
gy and Ginger decide to rent
rooms. Their boy friends, Pete
and Billy Beamish, two slap-happy
freshmen, inveigle their uncle.
