Leadership
Conference
Bellaire High School Assistant

Area Leadership Conference.

now qualified to advance to state
competition on March 8. Coordinator

Rodeo Parade
KIKKS off
Livestock Show
The annual Rodeo Parade was held
last weekend in downtown Houston
and this float, sponsored by KIKK
Radio Station, was one of the award
winners. It featured Texas' past and
future. At right is KIKK DJ Pam Ivey.

Bellaire sets
Folk Festival
The Bellaire Historical Society will
once again host the Bellaire Folk
Festival, set for March 3,10 a.m. at the
Bellaire City Hall Civic Center, 7008
S. Rice Ave. These folks, pictured in
costume at the Holland booth, are just
a sample of the 13 cultures
represented at the day long event.
Besides great food, many cultural
performances, such as the Ralhkamp
German Dancers, Sakura Japanese
Folk Dancers and the Houston Irish
Dancers will be held.
