BIGLER WELL AT BRAZOS
HAS SHOWING OF OIL
The Bigler well, southwest of Bra-
zos, blew In this week and is making a
nice showing of oil. The well has a
lishlng job at present, the bit having
be€n broken off and lost in the hole
twp weeks ago when an effort wAs be-,
ing made to complete the well after
having struck gas. This gas, to the
amount of 3,000,000 feet per day, was
struck in a gray lime apparently just
above the Whorton sand, which is pro-
ducing 15,000,000 feet of gas and twen-
ty barrels of gasoline in the Whorton
No. 1, one mile north of this wee].
The Bigler well at first made a show-
ing of gasoline which was brought out
by the bailer. This gasoline is of a
