in artificial reef study
Mud samples to be analyzed were
collected Thursday, March 15, when
a group of interested officials went
out on the R/V Longhorn, which
belongs to the University of Texas
Marine Science Institute (UTMSI).

A day of fun for the family is on
tap on Saturday, March 24.-
A Family Fun Fair will benefit stu-
dents at the Montessori Children’s
House.
A moon walk, face painting, mu-
sic, a ring toss, sidewalk drawing, bas-
ketball games and many other activi-
ties for all ages are planned for the
event that will be held at the Jerry
McDonald Field at the corner of
Alister and Avenue C. The fair will
be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ad-
mission is free, and fees will be
charged for the games and activities.
Raffle tickets, at $1 each are on
sale now by calling the school at 749-

be a deep sea fishing trip for two, a
sunset cruise for two and dinners
