for the beautiful gifts from the
congregation here, from the Boy
Scouts, and for the quilt that
the Moscow Ladies gave them,
but some how they seemed to
lack words that expressed thoir
full gratitude, and. with a slight
tremor in their voices and a tear
in thier eyes, they asked the
Editor to write it* And here it is.

OBSERVE WEEK OF PRAYER
The Week of Prayer program
observed by the King’s Daugh-
ters and the Methodist Woman’s
Missionary Society, on Thurs-
day evening of last week was
well enjeyjed by a large cromd.
The Missionary Society held
the mornings program and af‘er
sandwiches, coffee and pie were
served, the King’s Daughters
presented a piny.
The play described the work
that is being done in Korea for
the education of girls, and was
presented in a very interesting
manor.

BRIDGE CLUB
Wednesday afternoon of last
week Mrs. Carl Bergman prov-
ed to be a charming hostess
when she entertained the Bridge
Club. Trhee tables of players
assembled in the spacious Living
room that was decorated with
baskets of lyellow ehrysanthe-
nums, a n d enjoyed several
games of Bridge.
Mrs. Wilford Edens w a s
awarded prize for high score and
Mrs. J- R. Dale for second-
Chicken sandwiches, ice box
chocolate custard and tea were
served-
Guests were: Mesdames Gar-
land Hendry, Carl Stewart and
0. A. Parmley.
Dairy business must be good.
Mrs. Fancher brought 'in a dol-
lar from L. J- Coward, agent for
the S. P. and Dairyman deluxe,
on last Tuesday and a few min-
utes later, 1,. M. McGehe, who
devotes all his time to the dairy
buisness, stopped at the, office to
hand in his renewal- Thanks,
fellows.
