available today to apply for,”

directors has not addressed
the amount of funds that will
be available next year.”
Applications are available
by contacting the WEDC of-
fice at 532-0999 or by visiting
the office at 1944 N. Fulton St.
in the Wharton Civic Center.
Applications can be emailed,
and they were expected to be
available on the WEDC’s web-
site, www.whartonedc.com.
Applications will be ad-
dressed in the order received
and are subject to WEDC
board approval. The board
meets on the third Monday
of each month with the next
meeting slated for July 16.
In addition to the Busi-

similar program is also avail-

requires a one-to-one match.
Information about that pro-
gram is also available at the
WEDC office or on the WEDC
website.
‘We’re excited in trying
to get this program revived,”
Schroeder said of the Business
Restoration Program. ‘We
hope it’s a benefit to new busi-
nesses who want to locate on
the gateways to downtown.”
