Married.
On last Thursday afternoon,
April 25, 1912, at 1:30 o’clock,
Mr. A. W. Harrison of Woodville
and Miss Zula McKee of -Kiam,
Polk county, Texas, were united
in holy bonds of matrimony at
the home of the bride's parents,
Mr. and Mrs J. M. McKee, Rev.
R. R. Smith, pastor of the M. E.
church of Woodville, assisted by
Rev. C. IV. Chambers, of Kiarn
performed the cermony. which
made the .voting couple husband
and wife.
The bride comes from one of
the highest and most respected
families of Polk county, and is
the accomplished daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. .1. M. McKee. The
groom also comes from bneof the
most highly respected families of
Polk county, and now holds a re-
sponsible position with the firm
of Reid & Tubb of this place.
Preparations had been begun
several days priorto the marriage
and when the time arrived for
the happy event to take place ev-
erything was' in readiness and
nothing was left to do except to
carry out the plans and ai lange
ments connected with it. which
was done in perfect style. The
parlor was an object of beauty,
white and green being the colors
used in decorating. Two white
hearts, pierced with a silver ar-
row, wTere hanging above the al-
tar. As the wedding march be-
gan little Miss Dedie Young came
into the room carrying thebride’s
boquet and was followed by the
attendants, the bride’s sister,
Miss Alma McKee, Miss Sarah
Mae George, and Messrs. J. B.
Best and J. K. Turner. Then
came the bride and groom. The
bride wore a traveling suit of
Champaigne Serge, with hat and
gloves to match. The bride’s
maids wore a suit of blue voile
made over blue massaline.
After the ceremony was per-
formed and congratulations ex-
tended the happy couple left for
Woodville, accompanied by sever-
al relatives and friends where
they were given a reception by
the bride’s sister, Mrs. J. S.
Tucker.
Many congratulations were ex-
tended to the young couple and a
great number of presents were
presented to them. Never was a
bride showered with more flow-
ers than she to show the good
wishes of her many friends here.
Mr. and Mrs. Harrison will make
their future home in Woodville.
Thay they may live a long, happy
and prosperous life together is
the wishes of their many friends.

Watkins is plaintiff and Philip
Watkins is defendant. The na-
ture of the plaintiffs demand be-
ing as follows, to-wit:
Plaintiff and Defendant were
married on the— day of June,
1906, in Orange county, Texas,
and lived together as husband
and wife until Nov. —,.1906, when
defendant without just cause
abandoned plaintiff and they have
not lived together since said time,
and that their further living to-
gether would be insupportable.
Plaintiff prays that defendant be
cited to answer this petition, for
judgment dissolving the tear riage
relations, &c.
Herein fail not, and have you
before said Court, on the said

ment thereon, showing how you

RULES
Rule 1. Write: OLIVER’S MUSIC HOUSE IS THE
BEST PLACE IN TEXAS TQ BUY A PIANO as many
times as possible on one side of a card, and on the opposite
Side write your full name and address, stating the number
of times you have written the above sentence.
Rule 2. Professional penmen, draftsmen, engravers,
designers and artists are barred. Also any person own-
ing an upright Piano, or a Piano Player, or any one who
has won a Piano in any previous contest, is not eligible,
and will receive no prize whatever.
Rule 3. Writing must be by hand, with pen and ink,
or lead pencil, and without the assistance of magnifying
glasses, other than those worn regularly every day.
Rule 4. The winner of the Piano and the other big
prizes will be decided by the judges, who will be repre-
sentative business men of Houston.
Rule 5. Every person complying with Rule 1. and not
winning a first or second prize, will receive a handsome
present free.
Rule 6. Every person must abide absolutely by the
decision of the judges.
We will give away these valuable prizes to teach the
people that OLIVER’S MUSIC HOUSERS THE BEST
PLACE IN TEXAS TO BUY A PIANO. This offer ex-
pires Thursday, May 16, 1912, at 6 o’clock p. m. Each
person will be notified by mail soon afterwards.
In case of a tie the value of the prize will be equally
divided between tying contestants.
