ber A full membership was present

P Gaines was reelected as principal

council with reference to securing
more room for tho schools before the
beginning of tho next term

idea seems to prevail that the board
meetings were private which ho de-

trary every member of the board

through the international committco
by which tho local association shall ro
ceire a gift of 600 as soon as its mem-
bership reaches tho 1000 mark The
board accepted the proposition agreed
that tho monoy given bliould bo useo
as a nenclous fund for a swimminp
pool and last night tho membership
committco mot and took tho first stopf
towards tho campaign
They proposo to form a Membership
Regiment and the active work of en-
listment is now going on Each mau
who joins the regiment agrees to do
his very best to secure one or more
members during the next thirty days
or at least by tho first ot Angust A
colonel two majors and Ave captains
will be elected at a meeting next Tues-
day night Other officers will be
elected by their respective companies
The colors of tho regiment are the
national and the color of tho three
senior companies will be red white
and blue respectively Special awards
will bo given those who secure mem-
bers
As soon as the work gets started
well the company who is ahead will
have its flag floating from the bnild
ing The committee feels confident ol
success
