Late yesterday afternoon a thrilling
runaway occurred in South Palestine
on Colorado street A horse attached
to a buggy took fright on Royall street
and turned into Colorado street and
in the buggy was a man a woman and
a small boy almost a baby The
lines broke about the first pull made
on them by the driver and the animal
thus unchecked continued down the
street at a breakneck speed When
the Magnolia street crossing was
reached a rise in the street almost
succeeded In upsetting the buggy and
when the railroad was reached and
just after the vehicle passed over the
tracks It turned over The occupants
were thrown out with great violence
and the man and woman were both
injured though not seriously When
a Herald man reached the scene the
woman had been carried into a neigh-
boring house the man was looking
after his damaged property and the
kid was playing around as if nothing
had ever happened In the excite-
ment the names were not secured
