The board of directors of the Jew-
ish Literary Club hold the regular
monthly meeting Tuesday evening in
the elub rooms in the I O O F build-
ing in connection with the regular
meeting Several questions of impor-
tance were dealt with and regular
routine of business was followed
The question of giving the annual
Simchath Torah ball this year met
with the approval of the elub and it
was decided that at the regular meet-
ing which will be held next Tuesday
evening a committee would be chosen
to make all necessary arrangements
for this affair and also set the date
It is the intention of the club to make
this ball a grand success and indica-
tions point that way Next Tuesday
marks the beginning of the regular lit-
erary calendar of the club lor this
term and a splendid program has
been arranged by the literary leader
Sam li Bloomberg and promises to be
the best program outlined for the
elub With the approach of cool
weather and a good program in view
a full atendauce is expected +
