Walker, was torn in Milam coun-
ty Dc-oembcr 15, 1900, the daugh-
ter of Henry and Lula
Walker.
She was married t( Dewitt
Kornegaj. Nov. 10. 1315. Of the
niti'* children born to them, one
preceded the mother in oeath in
1938.
For ihe past two years Mrs.
Korncgav’s health did not permit
her leading an active life. Prior
to that time she took an active
part in Mt. Zion Baptist Church
to which she belonged, and she
also was interested m 4-H Club
work. She was a member of Rock-
dale Chi.pter, Order of Eastern
Star, heing a past Worthy Matron.
She is survived by he r husband,
five sons, Clarence Kornegay of
Chicago, Illinois. F.ldon Kornegay

man was givn ten days to pay
a S100 fine for causing a nuisance
by playing bis radio at a loud

hot hood dogs.
Five neighbors testified Walters
had his radio so loud they bail
to close their windows and put
cotton in tl eir ears before they
could sleep.
They complained that the man
went to his front porch and.
I imitated dogs when they barked
early in the morning.
The accused man conceded the
dogs had kept him awake so he
retaliated.
