Coach Bill Ford s Cuero high school Gobblers will be
seeking their second District 15-AAA win and their third
of the season Friday night, when they travel to Robstown r
to meet the Cotton Pickers. It will be the next to last
game of the season for the Cueroites. while Port Lavaca
and Kingsville remain on the 1961 Robstown slate after
tonight's encounter.

in Seguin.
The Rama had to come from
behind to cop their second dis-
trict victory and their seventh
win of the season. Daule now
has a 2-1 district record and a
7-1 season mark.
The district race was thrown
wide open Thursday night when
Victoria defeated Wharton 12-0.
Prior to Thursday's game.
Wharton was the only unde-
feated team in the district.
Daule plays Wharton Nov.
11 in Wharton and ends its reg-
ular schedule Nov. 17 against
Bay City there.
In Seguin Thursday night.
Daule scored first when Jimmy
Brown, sophomore fullback,
plunged over the goal line from
one yard out in the second
quarter. The touchdown
Albert Johnson, who carried
to the one yard stripe on a
41-yard end run.
Minutes later, Seguin moved
out front 8-6 when Svalia Mo-
