That This Page Be
An Inspiration To
Many Is The
Sincere Desire of
Cuero Ministers
Sometimes it is hard to make up our minds about important things.
Some decisions have to be made quickly. A short time ago a teen-age boy
became a hero by making a quick decision. He came to a railroad crossing
and found a car stalled on the track. The driver was frantically trying to
j . *
get his motor started. The teen-ager, who was coming up to the rear of the
stalled auto, quickly drove up to the car and, bumper to bumper, shoved
it across the tracks. Hi» own car was barely off the crossing when the
train rumbled across the road. When the boy was questioned, he said,
”1 decided if I was going to do anything. I’d have to do it right away.”
Joshua challenged the children of Israel, ‘‘Choose you this day whom
ye will serve.” Life is short. No one has a promise of the morrow. Why
not make a decision like the teen-ager, "If I’m going to do anything, I’ll
have to do it right away.” Choosing to serve Jesus Christ may seem hard,
but failing to choose for Him will be harder.
