Schaffner Thursday evening
was Joan Bohman, a graduate.
A picnic supper was served
at six o’clock on the patio of
ihe Schaffner's country home.
Here shasta daisies were ar-
ranged.
This fun party included all
of the girl graduates of Cuero
Hi and Joan's parents. Dr. and
Mrs. A. J. Bohman, Sonjia and
Barbara Bohman, and little
Miss Rikki Rushing of Austin.
Morning Party
Given For
Five Groduotes
Five spring graduates who are
members of the First Presby-
terian Church were honored by
the Women of the Church with
a morning party held at Gob-
bler Stadium Friday.
The honorees included Fredd-
ie Wiggins. Harry Moore, Tim
Stubbs, Richard Milligan and
Steve Thompson.
A garden scene prevailed with
ivy-entwined trellises and pott-
ed plants.
The bar was arranged with sil-
houettes of graduates, and in its
center was a bouquet of daisies
with tiny likenesses of each hon-
aree. Refreshments were serv-
ed on trays designed to depict a
white mortarboard with green
tassles.
Favors were miniature white
Bibles which depended from a
manzanita tree decked with yel-
low roses.
The entire senior class was
bidden.
Mrs. Pat Dunn was chairman
of the party committee which
included Mmes. Howard Klein-
ecke, Gordon Thompson, Harry
Moore, Don Stiles and Davis
Hensley.

Cuero Paric Tuesday afternoon
to help Karen Hensley cele-
brate her sixth birthday. The
party was given by her mother.

cake was fashioned to portray
a merry-go-round adorned with
tiny animals and flags. The
cake was served with potato
chips, popsicles and punch.

and the niece and ward of the

th of Cuero. The bridegroom is
the son of Mrs. G. E. Gerdis of
Los Angeles, California and Mr.
rah G. Bell of Cuero. Her veil
was an imparted Spanish white
lace mantilla. She carried a co-
lonial bouquet fashioned with a
white orchid encircled with
white rosebuds with satin strea-
mers. A Rosary, gently entwined
completed the bouquet.

sewing projects.

She wore a pearl necklace and
earrings, a gift of the groom, a
blue garter from her mother
and a sixpence in her shoe from
her great-uncle. Dr. John H.

old she carried a white linen
and lace handkerchief belong-
