The Cuero Gobblers landed twelve players on the
All-District 14-AAA squad In a meeting of the coaches
in Hondo. Texas Thursday.
On the offensive unit it was David Fox, Center; Joe j
Sheppard, Guard; Ricky Saenz, Tackle; Ricky Kasper:
was unanimous choice at Quarterback, and Alois Black-1
well was a unanimous pick as a running back.
Honorable Mention choices on the Offensive team
were Larry Williams, Guard. Rufus Green, F»nd and
Arthur Whittington, Running Back.
Defensively Cuero placed three to the All-District
Team and three more made Honorable Mention. AU-
District picks were Darrell Rangnow, Guard: Rufus
Green, Line Backer, and Charles Arndt, Half Back. Neal
Salcher, Half Back; Eugene Gonzales, Guard, and David
Fox Line Backer were chosen as Honorable Mention.
