Jacksboro Council
Jacksboro City Council will meet for
their regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., Tues-
day, April 9, at Jacksboro City Hall.
Trustees regularly meet the second and
fourth Tuesday of each month. A com-
plete agenda will be posted 72 hours in
advance at City Hall.
Lions Club
Lions Club will meet in regular session
at noon. Wednesday, April 10, at the Li-
ons Building on East Street. They meet
the second and fourth Wednesdays of ev-
ery month. They serve a catered lunch.
Friends of the Museum
Jack County Friends of the Museum
will meet at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, April
11, in the museum. The group meets ev-
ery second Thursday of the month.
Hospital district
Jack County Hospital District Board of
Directors will meet at 6 p.m., Tuesday,
April 16, at the Faith Community Hospi-
tal conference room. The board regularly
meets the third Tuesday of the month.
An agenda will be posted 72 hours in ad-

The Rough Riders Playday will be Sat-
urday, April 20, at the arena on Highway

checked. The playday is held the third

Antelope Jamboree will be held at 6
p.m., April 20 at the community center.
The jamboree is held the third Saturday
of each month.
Band Boosters
The members of the JHS Band Boost-
ers will meet at 6 p.m., Monday, April 15,
at the high school band hall. The boost-
er club meets the third Monday of each
month during the school year.
Bryson ISD
Bryson Independent School District
trustees will meet in a regular scheduled
session at 7 p.m., Monday, April 15, in
the boardroom. The board meets the third
Monday of each month.

Customer Service Award were

Dinner
Calling all Cancer Survivors...Jack
County Relay For Life needs you.
If you’ve ever heard the words,
“You have cancer,” the Relay Com-
mittee would like to invite you to at-
tend the Cancer’s Survivor Dinner
and local RFL event.
The JCRFL Survivor Dinner is
scheduled for 6 p.m., Tuesday, May
14, at the Concerned Citizens Cen-
ter, located at 400 East Pine Street
in Jacksboro.
As a cancer survivor, you’ll be
a guest of honor at the dinner and
cheered on by your community at
the RFL event. Cancer patient care-
givers are also a major part of RFL
events and are honored for their
support.
Whether you’re a survivor or care-
giver, getting involved in your local
RFL event can introduce you to oth-
ers who are facing the same chal-
lenges, and provide opportunities
for learning, sharing, and friend-
ship.
There are many ways cancer survi-
vors can participate in a RFL event.
For example, you can:
Enjoy the Cancer Survivor’s Din-
ner with a friend or family member;
Join fellow cancer survivors and
caregivers in the opening lap of the
event;
Participate on a RFL team with
friends and family members; and
Share your commitment to fight-
ing cancer and join your local RFL
Event Planning Committee.
The Relay will be Friday, May
17, at Jacksboro Middle School
field starting at 6 p.m. and ending at
midnight. Survivors need to regis-
ter at www.relayforlife.org/jackcotx
